Nic Peterson has a knack for helping companies move from point A to point B with a proven system of developing systems and processes for greater efficiency. He helps companies identify friction in their businesses, fix broken systems and build processes around them, so they never have to worry about them again.

He mentors many entrepreneurs, business leaders, and executives through his Mastery Mode coaching business. He has a knack for seeing the forest through the trees, and that’s why he has built up a private client base of over 40 high-asset individuals through his mastermind business.

However, it hasn’t always been this way. Here is the story about how Nic stumbled into becoming a coach and mastermind mentor for highly profitable individuals.

Building From the Ground Up

Nic left college during his freshman year, realizing that it wasn’t for him. The next logical solution was to get a job. He recognized pretty early on that he wasn’t cut out for a job.

“I have an issue with authority, basically.”

He started a gym in a warehouse in Florida, and for four years, he sleeping in the gym as a home. At 24, he decided to learn how to make money rather than getting fit. Over two years, he built a business of affluent individuals looking for his personal training.

Building Businesses and Selling Them

As the success of his fitness business grew, personal trainers and celebrity trainers flew in from all over the world to find out how he had built such a profitable business. Nic and his best friend, who had a Ph.D. in Metabolic Chemistry, started a nutrition company.

He ended up working with the head of Endocrinology at Johns Hopkins and the Department of Health and building a wealth of authority from his business partner and connections from clients. Before he knew it, he had two seven-figure companies.

He sold both of them to his business partners and started a third company in New Mexico coaching people what he had done in the fitness space. He sold his third business worth over 100 million dollars to his partner as well.

Stumbling Into Coaching

After attending masterminds and seminars to learn about business to improve his success, even more, he realized it wasn’t for him. So he quit. However, he met other individuals who felt the same at each event.

He decided to build a company that helps businesses streamline their systems called Mastery Mode. To fund the business, he half-jokingly said to who was having a hard time finding the right mastermind group that he would do it for $3,000 a month.

She said yes, and then more calls came. By the end of the month, Nic had 33 people in the mastermind group, each paying $3,000 per month. That’s over a million a year. Now, he has 42 individuals.

His mastermind group helps coach wealthy entrepreneurs, and his Mastery Mode helps make their companies run more efficiently.

It All Started With Wanting to Help People and Learn From Them

Nic acknowledges that most of his success has come from the urge to help people. Whether it was in his fitness program and learning from affluent clients, building a nutrition business and learning from medical professionals, building a plan to help other personal trainers, or building a mastermind and coaching business.

His main desire was to learn and grow from others while being a service. Now he’s coaching other successful mentors to strike the same balance.
