LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE:

Chris Naugle has led an extraordinary life, but at the same time, relatable. He has gone from being raised in a lower-middle-class family and chasing bigger dreams only to get there and lose them just as fast.

We sat down with Chris to ask him questions about how he got off the rollercoaster ride of success and failure and into the life that looks like a dream, how he went from down-and-out to becoming America’s #1 Money Mentor.

You can listen to our conversation here on the Inner Edison Podcast.

Life On the Rollercoaster

If you’ve ever hoped for more in your life, you know that it doesn’t come without its share of lumps. Chris Naugle’s experienced many ups and downs on his journey towards success.

He grew up as a child of an alcoholic father and was raised primarily by his mother. His mother taught him the importance of drawing out what he wanted and making a map for his future.

As a kid, he learned he could materialize his biggest goals when he became a professional snowboarder. That led to his dream of owning a chain of snowboard shops that ultimately folded during the first recession when the dot-com bubble burst.

After some serious soul-searching, he ended up becoming a financial advisor on Wall Street. In 2008, he dabbled in real estate and bought up a big strip mall to convert into three strip malls to open his shop back up.

His timing couldn’t have been worse. The great recession hit, leaving him destitute on the verge of bankruptcy. He had to rent out sections of his house to friends just to afford his mortgage.

In 2009, he dove back into real estate and started buying doubles at affordable prices, then moved onto bigger units. On his 37th unit, he had built up a lot of money on paper but didn’t have much cash flow. The banks denied his loans and froze his credit lines.

Then as he fell behind on mortgages, the bank came calling for them. That was his life, up and down, just like a rollercoaster.

Learning Through Mentorship

During a three-day seminar on how to flip houses, he met someone who would become his mentor. The seminar had two guys. One was a big lender. The other was a flipper on A&E. His name was Greg, and he taught Chris what he had been missing all these years, how to have control over your money. That one seminar changed everything.

A Man On a Mission

Chris Naugle created two knew goals at the seminar. First, he wanted to have a show on HGTV about flipping houses. Second, he wanted to learn everything about how the rich use money to create real wealth.

From that seminar, Chris and his wife dove into house flipping. In all, they flipped 263 houses and landed a show on HGTV called Risky Builders.

He also attended every mastermind about building wealth and how millionaires and billionaires use money. Now Chris is on a mission to help EVERYONE save money like a Rockefeller.

Be Your Own Banker

Chris Naugle’s system for helping you save money like a Rockefeller starts with learning to become your own banker. The process isn’t hard, and Chris has loads of FREE content on his website to learn.

You can use this system to get out of debt, build wealth, and even leave a legacy.

Chris explained in detail how it works during our conversation on the Inner Edison Podcast. Listen for yourself!
