He shared his method for bringing ordinary podcasts up to the 1% club. He also shared a list of five traits that all successful podcasts have that you can start implementing today!

Keep reading to discover how to bring your podcast to the next level this year.

The Ingredients

According to Adams, there is a list of five things every podcast must do to beat the algorithms and rise to the top.

Get these right, and you can watch your podcast launch into greatness.

Here are the five things your podcast must have to be successful:

  1. Followers
  2. Downloads
  3. Listens
  4. Ratings
  5. Fans keep coming back

These five things are crucial to trigger the algorithms to show your podcasts along with the giants and gain more fans.

You’re probably saying, that’s great and all, but how do we do that?

The Secret Sauce

According to Adams, the secret sauce to having these five things happen is to create a private message campaign

Although Grow Your Show does many forms of marketing for podcasts, he highlights this type of marketing specifically because it’s something any small podcaster can do.

So how do you go about creating a private message campaign? We’re glad you asked.

The Recipe

Adams states that while podcasters can do this themselves, it is very time consuming, which is why many podcasters pay him for his service.

He offers a six month guarantee to have your show in the top 1% of podcasts in your niche. If that’s something that interests you, head over to Grow Your Show to learn more

If you’re an eager beaver, then here is the recipe to try it on your own

  1. Create a new profile to reach out to people on Facebook, Linkedin, or Meetup.
  2. Spend at least 4 hours each day sending private messages to people in your niche.
  3. Create a message that has a hook, story, and an offer.
  4. Start to nurture a relationship online, using ask, don’t tell.
  5. Exchange ideas, say what you liked about their ideas, and offer an episode from your podcast to listen to pertaining to the idea.
  6. Never send a link unless someone agrees to it first.
  7. Ask them what they thought of it.
  8. Repeat these steps with more people.

Now, we know what you’re thinking. That sounds like a ton of work! You’re right, but it’s what’s required to reach the top.

Due to the time-consuming nature of this strategy, Adams recommends hiring a virtual assistant to do this for you.

You can hire a virtual assistant from another country to do this for very little money.

If hiring a virtual assistant, you would want them to do the private message campaign full-time for a period of three to six months for excellent results.

The Choice is Yours!

Now that you know the method behind this guaranteed solution, you have two choices:

  1. You can either choose to go it alone trying to manage time, figuring it out as you go along, and navigate the world of finding reputable virtual assistants on your own.
  2. You can skip the time, the hassle, and the worry of figuring it out on your own and instead have a team of people do it for you.

Should you choose the latter, click here to get started!
